K Fed manages to stay out of poverty

Besides the recent election, it seems that our current events include the oh-so-not-shocking divorce of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. While I could potentially wax on and on about the amazingly talentless Mr. Federline, it will suffice to post a joke Conan O'Brien made last night on his show:

"Its been reported that Britney Spears will have to pay Kevin Federline $30,000 a month after they get divorced. Combined with his other sources of income, Mr. Federline's total income will be $30,000 a month."

Actually, Britney's iron-clad prenup states that Kevin will be paid a portion of $600,000 equal to half the total length of their marriage. They were married for two years so that means Kevin will be getting $300,000 (which works out to $25,000). Not a bad deal for Britney, considering she is worth a reported $150 million dollars.
