The new improved Congress--now with subpoena power!
Thanks due in large part to large-headed Senator Ted Kennedy, today the federal minimum wage was raised for the first time in over 10 years. While I applaud raising the minimum income floor from $5.15 and hour to $7.25 an hour, there are opponents who worry what the hike will mean for the economy.
